Meyer Joubert offers
a selection of classic, European-style wines for tasting: a Chardonnay
2002 & R62 Cabernet/Merlot Blend 2000 that have attracted attention
to Route 62, for quality and exclusivity. Both wines were matured in
French Oak for a year and longer (R62) and the natural process has been
followed, with little intervention of what nature blessed them
with.

The
Tradouw Valley has become famous for growing of grapes, as it has
it's own micro-climate (cool air flowing in every afternoon over the Langeberge
from the ocean) resulting in a late harvest season (end March- April)
and ensuring optimum physiological ripeness of fruit, that again
results in small berries and thick skins with good tannins.
Only
recently has a Deli been opened at the Cellar, for people wanting to absorb
the beauty of the magical Tradouw Valley, with a glass of quality wine
and fresh, home-made produce all locally made.
Hot
Ciabbata out of the oven, a selection of cheeses and salami's, figs and
preserves, liver and olive pateč and Chocolate Cheese cake with farm coffee.
You
can either sit inside the Deli or outside, looking at the Langeberge and
beautiful Valley, feeling part of a working farm environment.
