Bainskloof
There are 7 established trails, with Routes 1 to 6 available to campers only.

Berg en dal
Easy mountain walks among fynbos and unusual rock formations.

Cobusegat
A 20 km (12 mile) hiking trail in the cedarberg, with a donkey carrying your baggage.

Disa Hiking Trail
Situated on a farm in the Koue Bokkeveld it is a two hour trail up and down the mountain.

Du Toitskloof
There are three routes to follow. Permits are available from Nature Conservation, Stellenbosch.

Elands River
Four to six hour return walk. On the Worcester side of the Huguenot Tunnel.

Fairy Glen Route
This day hike is a return walk from the karoo National Botanical Garden. A leisurely 3-hour walk. Permits obtainable from the Worcester Tourism Bureau.

Hamlet Hiking Trail
A 4km (2.5 mile) — 2 hours — hike in the Gydo Mountains with beautiful views over the Warm Bokkeveld.

Karoo National Botanical Garden
Several short day hikes with excellent views from the koppies. No permit is necessary. There is also a braille route with explanatory braille labels and large print, as well as a wheel chair route.

Kleinfontein
On a farm in the "Droëhoek" area.

Krom River
Four to six hour return walk. On the Worcester side of the Huguenot Tunnel.

Long Acres
Three different circular routes to choose from offer magnificent views from the top of the Gydo Mountain Range.

Suurpootjie
This is a two day hiking trail on the farm Vaalkloof in the Ceres Karoo. The trail stretches over 24km (14 miles) and offers the nature lover unspoilt enjoyment and rock pools to swim in.

Waboomsberg
A four day hike. 36 kilometres (22 miles) long, with exquisite views, flora and fauna.
