Good Hope is a wine and olive farm surrounded by fynbos. It is in a secluded area where there is abundant bird life, buck, porcupines, baboons, ( If you happen to find a ladybird or two in your cottage, please do not harm them, as they are trying to find a warm spot to live!! ) dassies, bat-eared foxes, bunnies, flowers, beautiful scenery plus some wonderful hikes around the farm and up into the Kloof where there are some mountain pools and Bushmen paintings. We are about 2 hours drive from Cape Town. From Robertson head south to Agterkliphoogte, passed the Wine Cellar to the very end of the road and over the hill. Our rates are very reasonable and this is a good opportunity to book all the cottages for a family gathering or to spend some time with all the old friends! We
hope your stay will be blissful, comfortable and memorable. There
are 4 two bedroomed self catering cottages nestled at the foot
of the Riviersonderend Mountains. One bedroom has a double bed
and the other two, single beds. All the cottages have a fireplace,
a stoep with a hammock, a kitchen/sittingroom, separate bathroom/shower.
All linen, crockery and cutlery, fridge, stove, microwave, etc.
are supplied. There ia a Lapa with a super pool and braai, pub,
fridge etc.  |
