Guided Bass Fishing or Birding trips by boat along one of the most beautiful and tranquil stretches of the Breede River near Bonnievale. Our specially built boat "Padda" is equipped with Fish Finder and Electric Motor, enabling us to sneak up quietly on bass or birds. The boat can take a maximum of 5 guests, and is available exclusively to you on any one trip.

We hunt for Smallmouth Bass in the upper reaches of this stretch of river, and usually find the Largemouth's in the deeper, slower flowing sections lower down. All fish caught are strictly Catch And Release.

A Beginner fisherman may use a rod and a reel at no extra charge, but proper bassing equipment will be charged for at the rate given.

Alternatively for Twitchers we have from Fish Eagle to Finch, and a whole lot in between. Not to mention 5 Kingfisher species. Reasonable binoculars are supplied no charge, but if you are used to excellent quality please bring your own.

The rates are as follows, and include snacks and refreshments on the morning or afternoon trips.

R100.00 p.p. per hour for bass fishing or birding.
R20.00 p.p. per hour extra for hire of professional bass fishing equipment.
R400.00 is the minimum charge for an outing.
Children under 16 are half price.

If a bass lure is lost, you will be required to pay replacement cost.
Transport can be arrange, and will be charged at standard AA rates per km.
